This year’s edition of Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show, the largest farm show in eastern Canada, will feature multiple field demonstrations, speakers and over 750 exhibitors.

Last year saw over 40,000 attendees through the gates, and the number is only expected to grow again this year.

“Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show continues to be the place for farmers to see and experience the latest in farming technology and innovation,” says Doug Wagner, president of Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show. “We are proud of being a venue that can bring new technology to farmers on such a large scale. We can’t wait for farmers to see what we have in store this September.”

Field demonstrations will include the fertilizer spreader demo, the tillage of cover crops demo and the roller crimper demo, while FCC Livestock Central will feature sheep- and cattle-handling demos, as well as the pasture-grazing demo.

Another show highlight will be the evolution of farming demonstration featuring Dot Technology Corp., presented by Corteva Agriscience, the first autonomous farming demonstration of its kind at Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show – and in eastern Canada.

The Britespan Dairy Innovation Centre, located on Masonville Lane, is home to 70 cows each year. The centre itself is a fully functional robotic milking barn showcasing two competing systems from Lely and DeLaval.

The centre also features products from over a dozen different exhibitors who specialize in feed, machinery, stalls, building, ventilation and more. All of the companies work together to make the barn a success.
